Love Me Today

Daydreaming of you
under the oak boughs
you tickle my soul

Raindrops on my lips
gently you kiss them away
ever so blissful

Blowing on my ear
us playing under the sheets
eternal loving

Snuggling close to you
I have to get to work now
putting on my robe

Secret Place

Under the trees at night is a secret place that keeps out all passing fears.
How strange yet beautiful this place is.

We leave our pain and tears behind they shall not follow.
Lightning lingers but does not harm.
Magnificent silver filling the sky.

We hurry to the patch of wildflowers smelling and observing.
I love the breeze and the night. From our secret place; we watch the beauty of Earth sleep and unfold in the early morn.

Salutations To A Heartbeat

Attentive awakened soul, shall my heartbeat not accelerate when I gaze at you?
Shall my eyes not shine for you?
Shall I not absorb your purity, your grace?

Oh attentive awakened soul, put your arms around me.
Hold me as close as the stem embraces the petal.
Your heartbeat shall salute my heartbeat.

Golden Coins

The wind blows golden coins upon my cheeks
The sun shines golden coins upon my head
The rain showers golden coins upon my arms
The clouds cover the golden coins with more golden coins
Golden coins blossom on my thighs and stomach
Golden coins blossom on my ear.

You sigh and moan and blow golden coins to me
Golden coins, golden kisses for me from you!!!

Intense Knight

Upon the steps he strode
With every care and confidence
He looked at me, he devoured me
With every breath I took.

Devoured my pain, my sorrow
The aching dullness, the uncomplete.
Tore apart the strains
The evil that wanted to consume me.

Dug into every depth of my soul
'Til he found the shy complete me.
He pranced around me
Like a knight who won his victory.

My soft hands in his bold daring ones
He asks me to spend every waking hour
With him
Sharing my peace, sharing my knowledge, sharing myself.

Heart and Soul of Southern Wind

Do you smell it?
A southern wind blows like a happy mother
blowing on her newborn's tummy.
Imagine the wind blowing right to the roots of your hair.
It wants your devoted attention.
Come frolic with it just as children frolic in a dandelion field.
Little yellow beaming faces smile up at them.
Ripe field of happiness.

Do you see it?
A southern wind peeks from behind an oak tree like a child trying to peek at you wrapping birthday gifts.
Imagine the wind playing hide-and-seek with you.
It wants your devoted attention.
Come spy it just as the monarch spies the buttercup.
Little yellow beaming face.

Do you hear it?
A southern wind whimpers like a newborn retriever.
Imagine the wind whimpering in your ear.
It wants your devoted attention.
Come whimper with it just as the sun whimpers as the moon takes its place.

Do you taste it?
A southern wind tastes the rain like you would taste your favourite topped pizza.
Imagine yourself tasting the wind.
It wants your devoted attention.

Do you feel it?
A southern wind caresses like an excited lover would caress you.
Imagine the wind caressing you.

Do you sense it?
A southern wind stands by you like your partner would stand by you in a moment of need.

Go find the southern wind!!!

Him Of Yesterday

He made an intense claim on my heart.
He took my breath to the platform of the classic blue sky.
He made my eyes see echoes of his personality.
He let me capture his inviting scent.
He entwined his time with my own time.
He embraced my yearning body.
He delved into my mind to assassinate all thoughts of others.
His thoughts, his actions were assembled in such a way so as not to burden me.
Never have I encountered such a true, compassionate, symphonic soul.
I still breathe him of yesterday!

Depths Of Your Character

Your eyes are the icons of your character.
Your eyes pronounce all medleys of truth.
Your eyes voice the echoes of your mind.
Your eyes illuminate your idealistic intent.
The intent to get me to see who you really are.
The depths of your character speak to me, entice me, reel me in.
Who are you?

You are my knowledge, my truth, my guidance.
The depth of your character speaks to my soul.
The depth of your character reaches me like no other.
You have a great kindness, a great kindling of passion, a great insight into the trials of life.
You have an honorable way in all your doings.
The depth of your character, I admire to the fullest extent.
The depth of your character has reached me and will never let me go!

In The Forest

In the forest late at night the birds echo your name.
In the forest late at night the deer frolic as if we would frolic.
In the forest late at night the tree frogs cling to the trees like we would cling to each other.
In the forest late at night the shadows roam about like we would roam about.
In the forest late at night the stars glow together like we would glow together.
In the forest late at night the fire burns hot like our love for each other would burn hot.
In the forest late at night the flowers sleep huddled together like we would sleep huddled together.
In the forest late at night spirits soar like we would soar.
In the forest late at night amazing things happen!

Message

Blowing amongst the rough wind - faith and care
across the lakes, through the tress, across time.
What time do we have but this?
Patient and free.

Through the bluegrass
Through the golden years
Writing upon the bark, a message.
A message of love, a message of hate
Undercover masks.
